Hidden in the San Bernardino Mountains, Lake Arrowhead is a mountain oasis in the desert. Although I didn't capture any of the gorgeous Stellar's Jay's while visiting this weekend, I was able to capture a nice shot of a Doe and a Woodpecker.

Wonderful photos! I especially like the one of the Acorn Woodpecker. We just got back from Lake Arrowhead, we saw several woodpeckers and had three sightings of coyote (but no deer...).
